Lake Granby is just ten minutes away. It is a reservoir with a 7,260 acre surface area. The maximum depth is 200ft by the dam. The lake is the second largest lake in Colorado and has 40 miles of shore line. Anglers will find rainbow trout, mackinaw trout and salmon. It has 3 boat launch ramps and 3 picnic areas.
Shadow Mountain Lake is just fifteen minutes away. It has a surface area of 1,800 acres.
Grand Lake, which is twenty minutes away, is the largest natural lake in Colorado. It has a surface area of 600 acres and a large portion of the lake is over 250 feet deep. The lake contains rainbow trout, brook trout, mackinaw trout, cutthroat throat and kokanee salmon. Boat rentals are available.
